A school day with Rafyo
From Sunday evening to the end of term — here's what disappears from everyone's to-do list.
Sunday evening · Before the week starts
The week arrives in one email.
Every Sunday, each family gets the coming week in a single message — their children's lunches and clubs together, so nothing is discovered on the morning it was needed.
Children are named by first name only, and no subject line names a child at all. The reminder before the ordering deadline still comes separately; one toggle covers both.

Parents pick from your actual menu in a couple of taps. Each child's allergies — severity and all — are on file and verified by the family, so an unsuitable meal is flagged before it's ever booked.

A whole term, just Tuesdays, or one taster session.
Each club decides how much of it a parent can book: the whole term, chosen days of the week for the rest of term, or individual dates. The last two are priced per session, so a family pays for exactly what they booked — and the days are the booking, changing live as they tap.
Staff take the register on a phone. Taking a child out of a single date credits their family for that session automatically.

Allergies, treated like the safeguarding matter they are.
On most systems a child's allergy is a note in a free-text box — easy to mistype, easy to overwrite, invisible to the kitchen at the moment it matters. Rafyo makes allergies structured records with rules about who can change what.

- Every child's record uses the fourteen statutory allergens, each with a severity on file — from life-threatening with an adrenaline pen prescribed, down to mild. No ambiguous text boxes.
- Severe can't be quietly weakened
- Lowering or removing a severe allergy needs school-office sign-off. Until the office confirms, the kitchen keeps protecting the child. Changes that make a record safer apply instantly.
- Parents confirm what you hold
- Families answer a plain-language reaction question, verify records the school entered, and receive a receipt email for every change — including ones they didn't make.
- Your safeguarding lead is in the loop
- A named review role owns the approval queue and is emailed the moment a severe allergy is added or a change needs review. Every change lands in the audit log.

Your Stripe account, not ours
Card payments run through the school's own Stripe account, under the school's own agreement with Stripe. Rafyo never holds your money, and card details never touch our servers.
No child named in a subject line
Email subjects can't carry pupil names — the template editor refuses it and says why. Dietary alerts to staff say only that a profile needs reviewing; what changed, and for whom, stays behind your login.
Two-factor for staff accounts
Staff can protect their Rafyo account with an authenticator app, and every dietary and account change is written to an audit log with who made it.
